Games written, devised and collected by experienced and innovative youth leaders throughout the U.K. These three booklets have been designed specifically for ease of use, both in pre-planning your sessions and during play.

Illustrated throughout, each book is divided into sections from which you can pick and choose for a well organised and varied physical games session.

Playchute Games for the Early Years - £4.50 each

Here we start at the very beginning regarding both age of participants and, if necessary, experience of leaders. This booklet offers ideas and games to get you started and help you run sessions with confidence. For those leaders who have played before, we hope you will find many new ideas which you can add to your repertoire.From introduction of a playchute for babies, to social skills and topic work for the 4/5 year old, this booklet provides a gradual development of games and ideas through fun with a playchute!

Maths Games with a Playchute in Primary School - £2.50 each

This is mental arithmetic with whole body involvment! You will recognise many of the maths suggestions in this booklet as things you already do. With the added dimension of a playchute, the potential for enjoyment in learning with group support increases dramatically. Some of the suggestions with suit Early Years best; most can be adapted for any key stage.

Playchutes in Christian Teaching & Colour and Number Dice Games for Christian Ministry - £4.50 each

Many of the games and ideas in this booklet were suggested to us by people using our regular Playchute Games booklets and adapting them for use in a Ministry context. The playchute becomes a tool to enhance stories, songs and worship and provides opportunties for getting over a more serious message through fun.

Dice games - here we offer several people's ideas on how to use coloured and numbered dice in various ways for teaching, games and worship. Symbolism plays a large part.

Playchutes in Christian Teaching booklet


	Don't Forget the Parachute - Environmental Games to Save Our Planet - £5.00 each This booklet, written by Dinah Pryor, contains a wealth of games adapted for learning about the environment. In her introduction she writes, "Information put across in the context of a game in which all the players are fully involved is a very effective way of teaching." We couldn't agree more.

Balls

We have a variety of balls for use in a range of playchute games. Pictured are:

Flyers, Frisbees and Scrap Sacks

Foam Frisbees and SeamStress' own development - Scrap Sacks - add to the enjoyment of using a playchute and in co-operative play generally.

Air Squares

Our own development - Air squares are made of rip-stop nylon. They are approximately 48" (1.2 m) cubed and can be filled with air making an exceedingly lightweight cube which can be manipulated by groups in a fun and co-operative way - £40.00 each.
